Ukraine claimed that two Russian weapons depots were attacked. The attack was carried out on Saturday (September 21) night.

This information has been given in a report of the news agency Reuters.

In a statement, the General Staff of the Ukrainian Army said that the weapons depots in Tikhorsk in the southern part of Russia and Oktabrasky in the eastern part of Tver were attacked. Among them, one of the largest and most important Russian arsenals was Tikhorsk.

It is said that Russia has received information that preparations are underway to transport 2,000 tons of weapons in a train. This included weapons supplied by North Korea. At the time of the attack, the train was in the ammunition depot.

Reuters reported that they could not verify the accuracy of Ukraine’s claim.

A Ukrainian official said that the Russian arsenal was attacked using drones.

Earlier, BBC reported that they identified the names of 70 thousand 112 Russian soldiers killed in Ukraine. But in reality, this number is believed to be more. Because some families did not give detailed information about the deceased relatives. As a result, their names were not listed. Apart from this, the names of those killed in Russia-occupied Netsk and Luhansk were not added to the list.

According to the report, 13 thousand 781 volunteers are among the dead soldiers, which is about 20 percent of the total dead soldiers. In addition, many criminals also joined the war in exchange for remission of sentence. Earlier this number was the highest. Currently, this number stands at 19 percent. Apart from this, the rate of ordinary civilian soldiers participating in the war is 13 percent.

It said at least 100 volunteers have been killed every week since October last year. In some weeks it exceeded 310.

The report also said that Ukraine rarely commented on the soldiers killed in the war. Last February, the country’s president, Volodymyr Zelensky, said that 31,000 Ukrainian soldiers had lost their lives in the war with Russia. However, US intelligence estimates that this number will be much higher.
