On the occasion of the International Democracy Day, the leaders and workers of BNP are gathering in groups from different areas of the capital. Nayapaltan and the surrounding areas were abuzz with sloganeering. Vehicular movement has been stopped in and around Nayapaltan. The activists have taken position on the surrounding roads. A kind of joy is working in everyone to come to the assembly without any hindrance.
On Tuesday (September 17) from 2.30 pm in front of the central office of BNP in Nayapaltan, the rally is scheduled to start officially.
It can be seen on the surface, as the day progressed, BNP leaders and activists started coming from different wards to the rally venue Nayapaltan. Various festoons, placards and posters were seen in the hands of activists.
Acting Chairman of BNP Tariq Rahman will address the rally as the chief guest virtually. Party General Secretary Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir will preside.
From the rally, Tariq Rahman will give a new message for the complete formation of the state. Nationalist Socio-Cultural Organization (Jasas) leaders and activists are visiting for song and dance to keep the activists energized.
BNP Publicity Secretary Sultan Salauddin Tuku Dhaka Metropolitan North Member Secretary Aminul Haque and South Member Secretary Tanveer Ahmed Robin are also present on the stage in the rally.
It is to be noted that BNP had fixed the date of the rally last Sunday (September 15). But due to inclement weather, the rally date was rescheduled to September 17, two days later.
