Interim Government Sports Adviser Asif Mahmood asked everyone for advice without coming for any kind of personal lobbying.
He asked for this advice through a post on his verified Facebook page on Sunday (September 15) night.
Adviser Asif said in the post, “I said immediately after taking charge that no one will come with personal lobbying. Now if 50 people come to meet every day, 48 of them come with various lobbying. We also have to build ourselves as suitable citizens of new Bangladesh. Going beyond personal interest, the mentality of sacrifice for the sake of the country, the mentality of working should be created by holding the spirit of martyrs.
He said, your proposal for country reconstruction and state reform, tell how you want Bangladesh. Assist reform commissions. Suggest how to make positive reforms in whatever ministry we are in charge of.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Religious Affairs has instructed the District Administrators (DC) to take measures to maintain peace and order at the shrine. This order has been given in the letter issued by the organization-2 branch of the ministry on Monday (September 15).
It is said that some miscreants are attacking shrines in different parts of the country in order to disrupt law and order in the country which is alarming and undesirable. Considering the shrine as the burial place of Auli-Auliya and Dervishes, its followers have been paying devotion and pilgrimage with a long tradition.
The letter requested the District Administrators to take necessary measures to maintain peace and order and normal movement of devotees at the shrine. Apart from this, if there is any threat of attack on shrines in any district, it has been ordered to inform the Ministry of Religion along with taking immediate action.
